Jen Lenard-Benson has served as the funds development associate for Presbyterian Women since June 2010. She provides leadership, strategic direction and coordination for PW’s fundraising efforts.
With seventeen years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Jen has a passion for mission-based fundraising and for connecting people to the mission and ministry of organizations.
For eleven years, Jen has been a fundraising professional, gaining expertise in all aspects of fundraising. She has served as development director for The Center for Women and Families in Louisville, Kentucky, for NEW (Nonprofit Enterprise at Work, Inc.) in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and SOS Community Services in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She has also worked and served on the Board of Directors for organizations in Oakville and Toronto, Canada.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Valparaiso University, where she studied psychology, sociology, and gender studies. She has a certificate in fundraising management from the Center on Philanthropy Fund Raising School, Indiana University, and is qualified as a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
